What level of skill is required to operate the system?2018-08-01T18:30:56+00:00

There are 2 primary users of the system that require different skill levels. Reviewers only need the ability to review their own business data and manage exceptions. Developers require programming knowledge to be able to create their own integrations, but we typically do the development for our customers.

Our integrations provide you with a streamlined, easy-to-use interface, one that doesn’t require a developer’s skill set to be able to operate. Using and training new employees to use the integration is simple because the UI is designed to be user-friendly. Since our service is white glove, you don’t have to build or implement any of the tools yourself. We turn it over to you ready to go and learning how to use it is easy, so you can be up and running in a matter of minutes.

How can I ensure my confidential business data is secure?2018-08-01T18:30:05+00:00

Docinfusion encrypts sensitive data at the database and middleware level. All of our web resources run behind SSL certificates. Additionally information is encrypted during transmission between systems and has optional support for two-factor authentication for code updates.

What is an integrated ERP system?2018-08-01T18:25:06+00:00

ERP integration is simply the process of connecting business systems together. This is typically done via an API bridge that connects your ERP system to other platforms your business uses, such as an ecommerce platform. This allows for seamless transfer of data and information between platforms, and automation of several processes. It also collects all of your pertinent data and displays it in one place.

What are the benefits of an integrated ERP system?2018-08-01T18:26:31+00:00

ERP integrations come with a number of benefits, including:

  • The smooth exchange of data from one platform to another, and vice versa

What types of platforms can I integrate with my ERP?2018-08-01T18:27:32+00:00

ERP systems can be integrated with a wide variety of both third-party solutions, and legacy systems. The most common (and in many ways the most useful) integrations include:

  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Systems
  • Business intelligence platforms
  • Human Resource platforms
  • Project management suites
  • Ecommerce suites
  • Data extraction from documents

Because our services are white glove, however, we can integrate virtually any system with your ERP, simplifying your work and making your business processes smoother.

Which industries can benefit from an ERP integration?2018-08-01T18:28:02+00:00

Essentially every industry that uses a software solution of some kind can benefit from integrating their ERP systems for many different reasons.

Ecommerce and brick-and-mortar retail can utilize the integration to simultaneously manage their inventory tracker, ecommerce POS, and their CRM. Tech companies can use it to more effectively leverage their project management and HR software. Even manufacturing companies can use the integration to connect their inventory system and their electronic time clock with their ERP.

In every case, the major advantages remain the same. No manual entry is needed to transfer information from one platform to another because the integration allows them to communicate without hindrance, and all pertinent information is brought to a single interface to facilitate ease of use.

How involved is Docinfusion as I integrate my data?2018-08-01T18:28:33+00:00

As this FAQ has already mentioned, we provide integration as a white glove service. That means that we handle the whole process, from start to finish. You tell us which platforms or systems you want integrated, and we bridge them by building an API that meets your needs. We don’t offer any out-of-the-box solutions—each one is custom built for our clients.

Then, once we’ve integrated the systems you use, we turn it back over to you, teaching you how to use the simple user interfaces that control the new integrated system. It’s that simple.

How long does the integration process take?2018-08-01T18:29:11+00:00

There is no “typical” integration process as the unique combination of business systems that a company may implement is unique. However for simple projects integration can be done as quickly as a day.

Is your software available as an on premise solution as well as a cloud based app?2018-11-08T22:15:59+00:00

Yes our platform is available both in the cloud and as a downloadable on-premise solution.
